Total volume and weight are exact for the numbers you type. How many cartons fit, and how they are arranged,
is an estimate. The calculator does not know which cartons are fragile, how the load is secured, how weight
sits on a truck's axles, or the road rules.
Before you book a container or a truck, always confirm with your carrier or forwarder.
Sizes and formulas
Container sizes come from the tables Hapag-Lloyd publishes. Containers differ a little from one to the next.
Truck sizes are examples only. The chargeable weight formulas are the ones IATA and DHL Express publish. Each
carrier may have its own rules.
Price
It is free to use. There are no accounts and no payments.

The calculator is provided as it is. Its maker is not liable for losses that come from decisions made on these
estimates alone.
